This fall, we’ll be offering the following courses:

Lifejacket Lakota/Dakota – for beginners with little language experience. This is an intensive course that lasts 4 weeks, and meets for 1 hour per day. We anticipate offering this in early fall, and again in the spring.

Lakota/Dakota 1 – this is a continued language learning course, beginning after Lifejacket, which runs 3 days a week, and will generally run in 6-8 week units through the year.

Project Based Teaching Methods – this course is open to speakers or learners of any language, with a focus on Re-Indigenized project based immersion teaching styles. If you are not a Lakota or Dakota speaker or learner, that’s ok – join this class, taught in English, with methods that apply to all languages. This typically runs 2 nights a week through the year. Certificate available upon completion.
